Dinosaurs Will Die is a rider owned and operated snowboard company founded by snowboarders Jeff Keenan and Sean Genovese. The two met as amateur riders, Keenan for Option Snowboards and Genovese for Lib Tech. Both riders were very interested and involved in product design and development, but were frustrated by seeing what they felt were good ideas getting passed over for more conservative ones. They decided the time was right to build an independent and creatively free snowboard company that would reflect their own values and philosophies.
Dinosaurs Will Die launched in 2005 and in the first year, every DWD board sold out before board shops could even get them in stock. By its 5th season, the brand had grown ten-fold, and was selling boards in 14 different countries. Genovese and Keenan are determined to remain independent and grow organically to keep with the independent spirit and creative freedom that Dinosaurs Will Die was founded on.
