Over the past couple of years I’ve been visiting Sydney, with an eye towards the walls, looking for Sydney’s best street art. Newtown has always been good, along with the beach wall at Bondi, but i’m yet to find anything that surpasses May Lane. It’s been a love affair in the past 12 months and I take every opportunity I get to take a wonder through the lane and the surrounding streets snapping up the aura of the place. Now if you think i’m going to drop my pants and give you the exact address then your sadly mistaken. I think, I’ve done enough by giving you the name of the place and sharing some of my favourite pics from one of this countries true art exhibitions. Unscripted, unplanned and certainly free for all May Lane should remain unaffected by the stifling do-gooders that would paint those amazing walls a bland shade of grey.
