It’s a grand old life that allows you access to some amazing places.
Late last month I had the awesome job of working behind the scenes at Splendour in the Grass, one of Byron Bay’s many musical delights.
The Bloc Party played late on the Saturday night (Splendour is a 3 day festival) to an absolutely full house in the main tent.
The hum and the excitement had been building for days with mud covered fans slogging through the festival towards this moment.
And let me just tell you the Bloc Party, didn’t dissapoint, playing a massive selection during an amazing set that went for well over an hour.
I managed to slide around to front of house during the set a grabbed five minutes of footage including their massive song Banquet from the Silent Alarm Album from a couple of years back.
So anyways I hope you like the footage…
